Head Chef, JC Mersmann
JC Mersmann worked for six years in Germany under
noted Chefs such as Werner Hunsinger, Johannes Landersdorfer, and
Stefan Marquard. He returned to the US and added many illustrious
names to his resume. Jc worked with Chris Rossi at Citron, Chris
Lee at Chez Panisse, Paul Bertolli at Oliveto, Curt Klingman and
Mary Jo Thoreson at JoJo. Coming directly from his own kitchen
at the Michelin recognized La Rose Bistro in Berkeley, Jc has found
a home at Gathering Together Farm beginning in March of 2007. |

Saturday
Breakfasts are new this season. Join us for a delicious, classic
farm breakfast. We have vegetarian options available, and have soup
and salad for those that come during lunch time. The menu is set,
and we offer 2-3 breakfast and lunch specials each week.

Chef JC has decided to start a regular Friday night dinner service here at the farm and we couldn't be more excited! If you've been looking for something a little different for your Friday nights, the farm is the place to be. The menus will be more substantial than our lunch menus but with the same creative flare and first class local ingredients. For those of you who haven't had a chance to experience one of our dinner events at the farm this will be an opportunity to get a little taste of what those events are like but without the higher prices.

Brunch begins with an
extensive pastry sampler, fresh fruit salad, fresh squeezed organic
juices, organic coffee, yogurt and granola. Once at your table you
choose from a variety of entrees which we bring to you hot from
the kitchen. The menu is composed of fresh ingredients in season
on our farm and thus varies.
